About Us
Purpose & Objective
The purpose of the Light House Mission shall be:
- To conduct a nondenominational mission.
- To aid, assist and care for those in need.
- To be an advocate in behalf of the homeless, the poor and needy.
- To inform the public of the unique needs of the poor.
- To educate the community regarding the services of the Mission.
- To create channels of ministry and services between the public and the needs of the poor and homeless.
The objectives of the Light House Mission shall be:
- To furnish temporary housing.
- To furnish food.
- To furnish clothing.
- To furnish other services as needed
Established in 1890 to serve the needs of transient and needy local people in Terre Haute, Indiana.
